Now It took tittle X zero-dot-one second to perform a scroll on an Iphone.
On the Samsungs and Nokias he is still a fail.
For the overhelming majority of tech-guys this is a one more proof that users a sucking idiots.
I once heard an interview with the guy that invented the standardised cargo boxes. Recited from memory: "Now the truck-operators think about trucks, the capitans think about ships and the railroad guys love their railroads. I felt pretty lonely beeing the only one thinking about freight."
And in 2000 years of that christian stuff there was one, arguably maybe two guys thinking about believers. All that came thereon thought about protecting the one true believe. And thus repeatedly ended up washing it in blood.
For the overwhelming majority of tech-guys, truckers and preacherman that users, that freight and that believers are an inevitable nuisance that has to be dragged along somehow.
In the narrow definition of it you never invented anything. And that user-friendliness was at times nothing much more than a well set marketing-gag. But I never had to read a Macintosh's user manual. Uh oh, once I remember I did, but then only for the fun of it.
Every year and again I have to wade through 2 pages of confusing garble. That is the chalk-cleanout programme of our espresso machine.
